Air Jordan 15 was released in 1999 - 2000 NBA season and was never worn by Michael Jordan on NBA court. The inspiration of Jordan 15 Shoes came from the X-15 fighter plane, which broke the speed records at 4,502 miles per hour, just like Michael playing on the basketball courts. The tongue of Nike Jordan XV was really unique and stuck out parallel to the ground, resembling Jordan's trademark facial expression after a dunk. Jordan 16 was released on February 17, 2001 - Michael Jordan's 38th birthday. So, Air Jordan 16 hit the shelves next to the Air Jordan 15. This shoe was the first Air Jordans to not be designed by Tinker Hatfield since the Air Jordan 3 (III). But some elements from previous Air Jordan Shoes are still be used in the design like the clear rubber sole from Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 11 plus the patent leather from Air Jordan XI. What made the Air Jordan 16 unique and stylish was a brand new gaiter that covered the shoe could be removed to give a brand new look.

Michael Jordan ended his career on April 16th 2003 against the 76ers. A legend in basketball sports ended but I think the Nike Jordan Brand would continue.

Here comes Air Jordan CP3 III, New Orleans Hornets point God Chris Paul's third signature sneaker. The shoe features combination patent leather/leather or leather/nubuck uppers with an exposed horizontal stitch line that runs from the outrigger and wraps around the heel. The most notable features of the Jordan CP3 III have to be the intricate tonal graphics that grace the mid section of the shoe and the thick contrast stitching that lines the edge of the bottom section of the upper. Air Jordan CP3 3 also features a lower cut than the previous CP3 models like Jordan CP3 II and also bears some similarities to the Jordan Dub Zero. In the same way that some of Carmelo Anthony's Jordan models have borrowed some design elements from classic Air Jordans, the Jordan CP3 III seems to take a similar approach in the hopes of helping the shoe fit in with the Jordan aesthetic.

As Air Jordan 16 (XVI) and Air Jordan 17 (XVII) had the Plus edition and the Air Jordan 18 (XVIII) had the .5, the Air Jordan 19 (XIX) should also have a modified version released and has been named Air Jordan XIX SE. Again a simplier design, but with a higher price tag. Of course, they do have some different details from the typical Jordan 19 (XIX), including no lace lock of protective mesh, a leather upper with easy lace system and Jumpman on heel and midfoot. Other features include a full length zoom air bag, as well as a 3/4 length carbon fibre shank for added support. The thicker midole, especially at the back of the Jordan XIX SE shoe, is very heavy, but also provides plenty of cushioning.

The sole of Air Jordan Rare Air is basically a Air Jordan VI (6) sole stacked on top of an Air Jordan IV (4) outsole. The elephant print hits on the toe and heel are grafted from the Air Jordan III (3), and the tongue is taken from the Air Jordan V (5). Lacelocks from the Air Jordan IIIs (3) and the toggle from the Air Jordan V (5) also appear on the Air Jordan Rare Air. It appears that the geometric pattern on the midfoot resembles the Air Jordan VII (7) a bit as well. The heel features the tab from the Air Jordan II (2).
