Air Jordan 14 was released in 1998 - 1999 NBA season. The design was inspired by Michael Jordan's car, the Ferrari 550 M. Air Jordan 14 Shoes were the first Jordan Shoes to have metal tips on the laces, which also included a Jumpman logo. On the Air Jordan XIV's, each shoe (left and right) has 7 Jumpman logos making a total of 14. Other good features of Jordan XIV include the 2 Zoom Air units at the forefoot and heel respectively and the vent on the side helping sweat out.
Retro Jordan 14 came out in 2005 - 2006 with a total of ten colorways. Among all Nike Jordan XIV Shoes, the Black/Red Jordan 14 was the most sought after one.
